Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. Her birthplace was in Passaic (New Jersey) on June 19th, 1978. Her father is Dominican while her mother was Puerto Rican. Her family was raised by her mother who lived in Queens. At the age of 10, young her family and she relocated to the Dominican Republic, where they lived for the next seven years.
