Arianna Huffington
Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the US. She is a Greek-American writer, syndicated journalist as well as a businesswoman. She has written fifteen books, and she is co-founder the magazine The Huffington Post. Arianna Huffington is an actor, journalist writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for over ten years. Her role also includes being the owner of The Huffington Post, an independent, liberal online newsmagazine. After moving to England from Greece when she was 16 She earned an MA with a major in Economics from Cambridge University. At 21 she became head of the famous debate club The Cambridge Union' and was the first foreign born student to do so. After graduation she made her mark as an editorialist for the conservative syndicate and, with the launching of The Huffington Post' few years later she created a voice-based website that offered critical observations regarding the state of affairs. Her fame has helped attract a number of famous contributors. Arianna became famous in 2003 after she decided to contest as an independent candidate during the California recall election to replace then Governor Davis. Additionally, she was involved in a Detroit-based project that promoted fuel-efficient automobiles. Forbes declared her to be one of the "most powerful women" in media with her ranking at the 12th spot. Guardian placed her on their list of the 100 top media personalities in 2009. In 2011 AOL Inc. purchased The Huffington Post and made her the head of the media company, which also included a number of existing AOL properties, including Engadget AOL music Style list and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos was a daughter born to Konstantinos an advisor to management and a journalist. While she was close to her father, her connection to her mom was the defining factor in the remainder of her life. When she was a teen, she showed leadership traits that she still is known for. When she was in her 16th year she moved to Britain for a degree and attended Girton College Cambridge. She enrolled in the Cambridge Union college debate society during her time at college and was the third female to serve as the president. She graduated in 1972 with an advanced degree in Economics. In the years following her graduation, she was a journalist and TV host. In addition, she was a part of an edition of Face the music along with Bernard Levin and began writing books taking editorial help from Bernard Levin.
